WELCOME TO DANCE VOICE THERAPY AND EDUCATION CENTRE - BRISTOL

DANCE VOICE is the home of Dance Movement Therapy in the South West.

Dance Movement Therapy is founded on the principle that movement reflects a person's pattern of thinking and feeling.  It is a process using movement and dance to facilitate emotional, physical, social, mental and spiritual growth - thus throughout the year Dance Voice works with a wide range of clients.  The centre is staffed by three full time and three part-time therapists and a full time administrator.

The centre provides a safe working environment that is fully equipped with therapeutic resources that support the needs of the client.

The team deliver BTEC (Edexcel Award) courses in collaboration with City of Bristol College and MA/Post Graduate courses validated by Canterbury Christ Church University.

Dance Voice aims to educate and train professionals in the community in the knowledge and understanding of the arts as therapy, through accessible affordable courses.

Dance Voice believes that all people have capacity for change and development towards independence, meaningful occupation or employment, and to this end strives to make therapy and education available to all.  We believe that our model of Dance Movement Therapy is unique and we should foster its growth.
