Question: What qualifications are needed in order to apply for any of your courses.
Answer: We welcome people with a genuine interest in dance and other related art forms, with or without formal training or qualification. Your ability to study and achieve the academic requirements of a course will be discussed at interview.
Question: Is there a natural progression route via study?
Answer: Courses are not necessarily progressive; however, the Introductory short course can lead into the National Certificate which will give good underpinning for those people interested in pursuing the MA/Post Graduate training also offered here at Dance Voice
Question: Do you have study facilities?
Answer: Yes - we have a library, which holds a comprehensive selection of books, videos and articles on dance movement therapy, counselling, arts therapies, psychology, etc. together with internet access.
Question: How many tutors deliver your courses?
Answer:We have a core tutorial team of three registered therapists. Occasionally we invite outside lecturers in related filed's as visiting tutors on our longer courses.
Question: Will these courses qualify me as a Therapist?
Answer: Only the MA/Post Graduate training leads to professional qualification and licence to practice.
Question: I am on benefits, are there any reductions in the fees?
Answer:This would depend on which course you undertook. See individual course information for further details.
Question: I work in the care industry. Will these courses give me creative arts skills to use with a range of clients in the community.
Answer:Yes. Many of our students find work of this nature in educational, residential and community settings.
