MA / POST GRADUATE DIPLOMA IN DANCE MOVEMENT THERAPY.DESCRIPTION:This course is validated by Canterbury Christ Church University. This two year part time practice based programme is embedded in a highly experienced training and therapy centre which has a strong academic team, most of whom are senior qualified therapists/practitioners. The course starts with an intensive weekend with tuition continuing on Mondays from 9.00am - 6.00pm with an additional one day equivalent placement on site with the therapists in year one, and the equivalent of 2 days placement off site in year 2. |In addition to the teaching day, there will be some intensive weekend workshops.
OBJECTIVES:Successful completion of the 2 year Post Graduate Diploma leads to automatic registration with the Association of Dance Movement Therapists UK, as a Dance Movement Therapist Practitioner. Students are encouraged to continue for a 3rd year to complete at MA level.

ENTRY REQUIREMENTS:The applicant for an MA/Post Graduate Diploma in DMT training should normally have at least 5 years life experience and fall within one of the following categories.
COURSE FEES:Course fees of £2,600 per year for UK & EU residents only Overseas fees to be confirmed on application. This fee includes clinical supervision (year 1) and support/liaison regarding off-site placements (year 2)
